Established in 2021 by the Moleskine Foundation to provide unrestricted financial support to cultural non-profit organizations worldwide, the Creativity Pioneers Fund has since evolved into a strategic ecosystem enabler and catalytic infrastructure. It empowers creative changemakers with resources, relationships, and visibility, and is today supported by a coalition of partners committed to advancing the global Creativity for Social Change agenda.

At the heart of the Fund is a participatory selection model that engages past grantees in the evaluation process, fostering collective ownership, strengthening trust, and generating value across the ecosystem.

We believe creativity is not only a tool for human and economic development but also a force for social transformation and a response to the great global challenges of our time. In the hands of the Creativity Pioneers, creativity and culture can help rebuild war-torn societies, restore a sense of identity to young people growing up under unimaginable circumstances, inspire new ways of living that respond to climate change, and bridge deep inequalities.

Just as poetry is the alchemy of language, the Fund fuels the alchemy of imagination—supporting Pioneers who transform bold visions into real-world impact. Our funding enables organizations to meet essential needs, strengthen long-term capacities, and continue their vital work within communities. Beyond financial support, the Fund provides a global platform for learning, exchange, collective gatherings, and narrative change—helping the Creativity Pioneers grow, connect, and thrive.
