Jail Time Records

Jail Time Records was initially born as a music project in the Central Prison of Douala, Cameroon, subsequently, becoming a non-profit music label and the first permanent recording studio inside an African prison. They work with detainees and ex-detainees to create music and aim to scout and promote detainees’ talents in music, allowing them to express themselves.
