The fund - Creativity Pioneers Fund

The fund

Creativity is not just a means of artistic expression; it is a tool for economic development, social transformation, and a response to the great global challenges of our time. Creativity is a dynamic force capable of rebuilding communities torn by conflict and providing a platform for marginalized communities.

The development of creative skills needs spaces where criticality and imagination can happen. We aim to create an ecosystem supporting the growth of these spaces and contributing to the democratization of creative skills.

THE CREATIVITY PIONEERS FUND IN NUMBERS | 2021–2024

OUR MODEL FOR IMPACT

Through three core impact areas, the Creativity Pioneers Fund aims to support creative organizations in preserving and nurturing their unique identities. By embracing its hybrid nature, the Fund encourages unconventional approaches to tackle significant societal issues, ultimately contributing to developing a more vibrant and sustainable creative sector.

The platform model of the Creativity Pioneers Fund covers a program of initiatives synthesized under three main areas of impact:

Resources

Our goal is to mobilize increased resources for the sector through flexible and unrestricted funding mechanisms. This approach is essential to meet the diverse needs of the Creativity Pioneers, nurturing their growth and resilience and supporting them to make sustainable and long-term contributions to their communities.

Learning & Gathering

We facilitate learning opportunities and provide the necessary capacity-building tools, focusing on nurturing strategic thinking for sustained growth. Beyond skill-building and knowledge exchange, our initiatives foster a sense of belonging and inspire creativity among the Creativity Pioneers, encouraging collaboration and new ideas within the community.

Storytelling & narrative change

We aim to enhance the visibility of the Creativity Pioneers among the general public and key stakeholders, including funders and institutional actors. By shaping and promoting a common language for the sector, we seek to shift the perception of creativity from something "cute" to a transformative force in society and create a space for influencing policy and investment.
