Ingoma Nshya
Ingoma Nshya, established in 2004 as a response to the 1994 genocide, is Rwanda's first all-female drumming organization, promoting a culture of gender equality. Challenging traditional norms prohibiting women from drumming fosters a new image of empowered women in Rwanda. The ensemble, rooted in respect and unity, serves as a platform for women to advocate for their rights and dreams.
